I identify myself as several things professionally: an interactive designer, videographer, graphic designer, digital editor, content creator, photographer, and social media marketer. I've worked on numerous projects using camera, lighting, and sound equipment, and I often times find myself spending hours upon hours editing, unaware of how much time it's actually taken. Completing projects within teams and solo are equally rewarding to me, as I'm always up to the challenge.
But who am I, really? Outside of work I'm passionate about sports, fitness, traveling, and music. I'm a huge supporter of Arsenal FC, FC Barcelona, the Philadelphia Union, Philadelphia Phillies, and the Philadelphia 76ers. On my own, I play men's and mixed competitive ultimate frisbee while doing my best to grow the sport and the culture surrounding it. Gender equality and opportunity that ultimate provides is unique in the world and I sincerely hope that it not only grows, but that these values spread to other parts of our society.
I enjoy all kinds of music, from Queen or Chance the Rapper to Katy Perry or Kings of Leon. I'm currently trying to listen to a new song every day as a New Years Resolution! (Hint: It's pretty difficult and if you have any recommendations, let me know!) My time as a college radio DJ opened my eyes to several new genres and convinced me that radio is here to stay!
I'm also an active advocate of gender equality, environmental protection, animal rights and conservation, minority civil rights, and mental health awareness. Staying informed on current world events is something that I pride myself on and I always encourage others to do the same.
